1 pkg. Dry yeast
¼ cup sugar
¾ cup melted shortening
1 egg
¼ cup self-rising meal
4 cups self-rising flour
Mix yeast into 2 cups of luke warm water. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until well blended. (You do not have to wait for it to rise.) Put in refrigerator. When ready to eat, place spoonful into a well-greased muffin pan. Bake at 425º for 20 minutes.
