Baked Grits

1 c quick cooking grits
1 t salt
4 cups boiling water
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c grated sharp cheese
2 eggs

Bring salt water to a rolling boil and slowly stir in grits. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in butter and cheese. Put eggs in cup and add milk to make 1 c measure. Beat well and add to grits mixture. Bake in greased, 2-quart casserole dish at 350 degrees for one hour.
