3 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
(can use 2 cans of purchased sweet potatoes)
2 eggs
½ t. salt
1 t. vanilla
½ t. cinnamon
½ t. nutmeg
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
½ c. milk
¾ c. butter, melted
1 T. Jack Daniel’s whiskey (optional)
Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. plain flour
1 c. pecans, chopped
½ stick butter
Combine first group of ingredients and place in a greased casserole dish. Combine brown sugar, flour and pecans. Sprinkle over potatoes. Melt butter and pour over top. Bake at 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
